  The WORST accomodation ever!!!! I would never recommend anyone to stay here!!! They wouldn't let my 80 yr old Aunty check in 1/2 an hour early so she could get ready for my wedding which started at 2. She had to go elsewhere to get dressed. She has a walking stick and they made her leave!!!

  We travel to Heyfield every Easter for a sporting event, and I have to say it is always a pleasure to stay at the Broadbent and be looked after by Robyn and her team. It's a small motel but has everything you could want for a stay in the Heyfield area. I would recommend it to anyone.

  This was a lovely hotel. Great service when we checked in and checked out. The rooms were very clean and warm and the garden is magnificent. Would definitely stay there again.

  They charge $5.50 for a shower!!! That's right they charge for showers!!!

  Perhaps worst of all though, we had invited a couple to come over to our room to get ready for the wedding since they had an early checkout at the hotel they'd stayed in the night before, and the girl wanted help curling her hair. They came over and hung out for a little bit, we left the room for a few minutes so that my friend could put her baby down for a nap. While we were waiting outside, we asked the hotel owner for directions to the wedding reception, and where the nearest liquor store was, she was happy to give us these directions but when my friends got back from the liquor store, she basically came after them as soon as they pulled in and told them they couldn't get ready here, no outside guests were allowed in the rooms. This was the first we'd heard this policy, and she would not reconsider even when we told her that my friends were then left with no where to get ready, they weren't showering just getting dressed and getting her hair curled, and we even offered to pay for them to "use the facilities". She then said she didn't want to have to escort them off the property, but they would have to leave immediately. This was absolutely ridiculous and unnecessarily strict. Keep in mind that we had a napping baby in our room, we were not being loud or starting to party, we were literally visiting with old friends and doing our hair and make up for the wedding! I have never been treated like that at any hotel before, and I would definitely not reccomend this place to anyone passing through the area. I'd rather give my business to someone who makes me feel welcome, who respects me, and who tries to be hospitable and accommodating... I will not be back and I hope I can also deter you from choosing broadbents motor inn.

  This is by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. My friend and I were traveling to Heyfield with her 1 yr old son to attend a wedding. Our room is $140 a night, and while it's a decent size and was reasonably clean, that doesn't do anything to save my opinion of the place.

  Do yourself a favour and stay at Abington Farm instead. The owner there is amazing and will do anything to make your stay better. And it's cheaper too!!

  When we made our booking, we asked about a late checkout, the owner said they don't do late checkouts and that if we're here past 10am they will charge us for a whole extra night (this should have deterred us already!). There is no wifi... Which is brutal considering that we are in a country town with limited reception. They left us one towel each, no face cloths, and didn't offer us any more when we asked. They have a pool that is closed to the public because they can't afford to pay staff to maintain it to the necessary standards to be registered. They helped themselves into our room once we'd left to go to the ceremony and turned off the outlet switches, so my camera that I left behind to charge before the reception didn't get charged, not to mention that this was a complete violation of our privacy...

  We've been staying here every Easter for over 30 years and have never had anything less than exemplary service. The rooms are always spotlessly clean and the improvements Robyn and Amelia are undertaking will only make it better!
